Supportive recovery units
Supportive Recovery is funded by Northern Health to provide trauma-informed moderate support in a safe and structured living environment for individuals in recovery. This program is available to people who have completed primary withdrawal management and who may be waiting to enter or are participating in a therapeutic program.
The Supportive Recovery Worker provides a wide range of supports, including but not limited to:
Working with Northern Health services to develop treatment plans and facilitating connections to community-based support groups.
Supporting participants in their efforts to address financial, legal, or other issues.
Providing links to housing services, life skills and occupational training, and supportive employment programs.
Providing consistent and frequent peer support and encouragement to participants.
‘Ksan Society hosts 11 Supportive Recovery beds at Turning Points, ‘Ksan Residence & Shelter, and Transition House.
To refer a client or to refer yourself, please complete the referral form below. Completed forms can be emailed to supportrecovery@ksansociety.ca. Referral forms can also be completed and submitted in person at ‘Ksan’s Turning Points building, located at 4444 Lakelse Ave.
