Coldest night of the year
Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is ‘Ksan Society’s biggest annual fundraiser. It is a family-friendly walk that raises money for local charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community.
We provided supports and services beyond our funded capacity at both our emergency shelters and the transition house. Aside from safe shelter, we provide supports including advocacy, meals, transportation, clothing, hygiene materials, showers, and laundry.
By walking at dusk during a cold winter's night, you'll feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness during winter. By fundraising, you'll be contributing much-needed money that brings hope and help to people in our community who need support.
Everyone is welcome! CNOY is family-friendly. Walkers range in age from toddlers (with parents of course) to active seniors. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at CNOY. We love pets, and believe you when you say your pet is super well-behaved! But we can’t (and won’t) run the risk of any walker being bit/nipped/tripped, or your pet being kicked/poked/provoked. So please, leave your pet at home. (However, we do allow those with approved and trained service animals to attend.)
Teams and walkers register online to set up their fundraising page. It's easy to set your goal, add your photo and email donors. Donors are receipted within minutes of their secure online gift over $20.
