Second Stage Housing

Ella’s Place Second Stage Housing opened in 2025. This program provides 22 units of safe temporary housing for women and children experiencing violence. Collaborating on this project were BC Housing, the City of Terrace, M’akola Housing Society, and M’akola Development Services.

We were awarded funding through the Community Housing Fund for the development of a 39-unit apartment building compiled of mixed income, affordable rental housing for independent families and seniors. Collaborating on this project are BC Housing, the City of Terrace, and M’akola Development Services.

Construction of this project has begun and is set to be complete in winter of 2026.
