'Ksan House Society participates in several local and provincial inter-agency initiatives that support the safety, well-being, and stability of community members. These include:

Violence against women in relationships (vAWIR)

Guided by a provincial framework, VAWIR brings community partners together to identify systemic issues and coordinate collective responses to violence in intimate partner relationships.

Interagency Case Assessment Team (ICAT, formerly HRDV)

Supports individuals experiencing domestic violence who are at risk of serious bodily harm or death through coordinated information sharing and risk assessment among service providers.

sexual assault response Committee (SARA)

Brings together community partners to provide guidance, share information, identify service gaps, and promote the inclusion of survivor voices in the development of responsive and trauma-informed services. Both ICAT and SARA identify and elevate systemic issues to the VAWIR committee for broader community response.

Situation table

A collaborative, multi-agency approach that supports individuals and families facing acutely elevated risk by connecting them with the services and supports needed to improve safety and well-being.

Coordinated Access & Assessment Committee

A community-based process that prioritizes and matches individuals and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness with appropriate housing and support services based on their needs.
